a week agoFinally found a shawarma spot that gets it right! The shawarma arabi was delicious. The flavors, the fries, the pickles, and that garlic sauce were all spot on. Every bite tasted authentic and satisfying. Best one I've had in Austin so far! 🔥🌯

2 months agoHalal Joy is fantastic! The chicken kebab and beef pita wraps are flavorful, and I love choosing between tortilla or pizza bread. The seasoned fries are a perfect touch. Mohammed's energy is infectious – you can taste the passion in every bite. Highly recommend!

2 months agoI’ve tried this shawarma restaurant more than once, and honestly, each experience has been better than the last. The flavor is perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The meat/chicken is well-marinated and full of flavor. The bread is fresh, and the sauces add a special touch without being too heavy. The service is fast, and the staff are friendly and professional. The place is clean and well-organized. What I liked most is that they maintain the same quality every time, which is rare. Honestly, it’s one of the best shawarma spots I’ve tried, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic shawarma 👌🔥

2 months agoWe visited halal joy food truck and had an amazing experience. The food was very delicious and the portions were so generous 👌 You can really tell they care about quality. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. I’d definitely come back again!

Edited 5 months agoWe got the falafel rice plate, and the beef shawarma rice plate, both were outstanding! The pita was soft and fresh, the rice was flavorful, the falafel was crisp and delicious, and the beef was perfect! Even the olive oil drizzled on the greens tasted top tier. The owner is so kind, and it’s obvious he cares about the quality of his craft. We will definitely be back!

8 months agoI can see why this food truck got 5 star reviews across the board. Everything is amazing. From the severe to the food, I can’t find a single negative thing to say. I got the combination over rice. The beef and chicken were both juicy and tender and the rice was perfectly cooked. I even tried hummus and I surprisingly enjoyed it. I can’t recommend this spot enough!!!
